In sectoral indices, Bank Nifty sank 193.55 points or 0.42% to 45,485.75, Nifty Financial Services tumbled 0.57%, Nifty IT was down 0.24% while Nifty FMCG rose 0.32% and Nifty Media jumped 0.48%. The top gainers on Nifty 50 were Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Britannia, Adani Enterprises, Hindustan Unilever and Mahindra & Mahindra while the losers were Axis Bank, SBI Life, NTPC, Hindalco and BPCL.
